I am telling you guys as an Azerbaijani. It is so cringy to watch the whole movie with lots of false representations of Azerbaijani people and culture. At least they could have cast Azerbaijani looking people who played the role of Azerbaijani (palm face). Would not recommend at all.

Watched the movie yesterday, very very cute movie with respect to both countries and cultures. There are very few movies which show Azerbaijan so that is something quite new. I saw some negative comments here before the movie even came out, the girl never takes off her hijab and she isn't rescued by another man, both rescue themselves and the girl is very strong.
